These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and the AI receptionist services provided by Slatefield ("Slatefield," "we," "us"). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Slatefield provides a managed AI voice receptionist that answers calls, responds to common questions, captures caller details, and assists with appointment booking for our clients' businesses. You set up your receptionist yourself in minutes by entering your website URL at get.slatefieldai.com/start; ongoing management and support are provided by us.
2. Fees & billing
- No setup fee. There is no one-time setup or activation charge.
- Monthly subscription: plans are billed monthly at the rate selected at checkout — Basic ($79/month, 300 min), Pro ($199/month, 750 min), or Growth ($349/month, 1,500 min, plus reactivation, reminder, and review-request campaigns). Billing begins after your 7-day free trial ends and recurs monthly until cancelled.
- Additional minutes: on a paid plan your receptionist keeps answering if you exceed your included minutes, and any additional minutes are billed at $0.30 per minute on your next invoice. During a free trial, calls go to a brief message once trial minutes are used, until you activate a plan.
- Annual plans: discounted annual billing is available at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel the monthly service at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future charges.
7-day free trial: all plans include a free 7-day trial — no charge until the trial ends, and you may cancel before it ends at no cost. After the trial, you may cancel the monthly service anytime from your account to stop future charges.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information for configuration.
- Ensure you have the right to forward your phone number and to use the service for your business.
- Comply with all laws applicable to your business, including any notice or consent requirements for call recording in your jurisdiction.
- For any outbound text-message features (such as lead-reactivation campaigns, appointment reminders, or review requests), you confirm that the contacts you provide are your own customers or leads with an existing relationship with your business, that you have any consent required by applicable law to message them, and that such messages are sent on your behalf and at your direction.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes.
5. Service availability
We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The AI receptionist relies on third-party voice, telephony, and infrastructure providers whose availability is outside our control.
6. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any specific number of bookings, leads, or business outcomes. Examples and figures on our website are illustrative.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slatefield will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
